For 15 years the Orting Pumpkin Fest has been produced by the Tacoma Events Commission (Freedom Fair).

Gary Grape served as a long time director for the Tacoma Events Commission and was instrumental at coordinating all of our events for the people of Washington State, including the Tacoma Freedom Fair, Grey Sky Blues Music Festival and especially the Orting Pumpkin Festival for 14 years which has grown significantly. Unfortunately he was unable to be part of this year's event and we wish him well.
